Theda Mae's Story
After high school I went to Woodbury business College. In 1961 I married Al Topalian who I went with from the time I was 16. We have lived in San Gabriel all of our married life and have two children, a son and a daughter. Our son is Assistant Principal at Oak Jr High School in Temple City and has four children. Our daughter is married and is CFO at an engineering company that builds racing engines. My husband Al was with Los Angeles Unified School District for 38 years. ol. He retired in 2004. I was in insurance and office manager for an insurance agency in La Crescenta and I retired in 2006. I keep busy with the grandkids and I like to scrapbook and am trying to get all the family pictures in alblums. Al enjoys riding his Harley and he volunteers three days a week at Blair High School in Pasadena. I volunteer two days a wek at Lake Avenue church in the Senior Adult Office. Rght now I am very busy with the 50th High School Reunion. The time will be here before we know it.
